Nine nonprofit organizations have been awarded more than $12,000 in grants by the Wyoming Foundation.
The grants were part of the foundation's grant round for 2013. The Wyoming Foundation has strongly supported charitable causes in areas of cultural, educational and human services around the country. The foundation became a division of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo six years ago.

Nonprofit impact investing firm, Acumen, has invested $1.2 million to KZ Noir, a Rwanda-based coffee processing company owned by Kaizen Venture Partners. The investment will equip KZ Noir the funds for working capital, debt refinancing, and capacity expansion.
